　　60岁的诺尔马和28岁的哈维10年前于英国威尔斯普尔黑利一个营舍偶遇，哈维忆述：“第一眼看到她时，她身穿素白皮革衣和高跟鞋，有如电影明星，我以为她只有40岁，我自己则假称23岁(其时我不过18岁)，本觉得自己完全没机会。”

我同意以下的觀點：孫悟空的確是無性的，也就是說是沒有性欲的–這樣改變塙是一種糟蹋。然而，我不認爲孫悟空學雷鋒或者孫悟空去月球就等於“與時俱進”，這也近似荒唐，章氏也未免太願意迎合一時的潮流了，這樣也不對。被意識形態扭曲的西遊記跟黃色西遊記相差無幾。
“我去大学演讲时说，孙悟空是无性的。女性一出场，孙悟空眼睛一看，就两个字，‘人’还是‘妖’？没有别的了！如果女性一出来，我火眼金睛一飞眼，哎呀，这女人真漂亮！讲到这里，台下哄然大笑。如果师徒四人在取经路上，对爱情的忠贞超过了对取经的坚定，这根本违反这部作品的本意了。唐僧原型玄奘是佛教很有影响的一个代表，玄奘精神一直被尊敬。所以大家千万不要拿先祖的名著去开涮或搞笑。要防止影视作品为了商业利益，拿这些去满足少部分人的乐趣，这是一个非常不好的引导。”六小龄童清楚记得有个孩子问他：“叔叔，孙悟空有几个女朋友？”他无言以对。
